Day 41 - Rest day

There aren’t many stories to tell about this day: we spent the day mostly in sleeping bags. We rested, read, and communicated with the outside world, e.g., on the return flights. We also made a mummy tube from one power stretch mid-shirt to protect the stomach. Lunch was also enjoyed from sleeping bags instead of sitting on the sledges (photo).

A good day. Tomorrow with renewed enthusiasm, we’ll start to grind the rest of the kilometers.
